JEDDAH – The three-day Saudi Water and Power Forum in Jeddah is slated to start on Dec. 3, 2012.

The aim of the Forum is to add value to the industry by creating opportunities, building relationships and fostering innovation.
Today, Saudi Arabia is considered a strategic destination for investments by the biggest players in the power and water sectors, with power and water projects worth more than SR100 billion.

Forum sessions will focus on challenges, opportunities and ways to maximize benefits through creativity and cooperation to support a knowledge-based economy.

The event will also showcase the latest technologies in water and renewable energy and this year it will be the largest ever due to strong participation from both local and international companies. The Forum will also present the SWPF Award for Innovation and the Marafiq Award for Sustainability to best-in-class companies.

The Forum is widely regarded as one of the most important forums in the region and globally. The Forum aims to cultivate knowledge, share expertise and develop business partnerships and represent a unique opportunity for local, regional and global companies to invest in the multi-billion dollar Saudi water and power market.
