JEDDAH — Education is very important in everyone’s life. If our children get proper education they will develop individual personality and succeed in the life, said Mohammed Ragheb Qureshi, HOC & consul education at Indian Consulate General, at a farewell dinner hosted in his honor by president of Telangana NRI’s Forum (TNRF) cultural wing Syed Abdul Rafay at his residence.

In his short speech Qureshi, who has left the Kingdom to take up his next assignment in Mexico, thanked host Abdul Rafay for organizing the farewell ceremony. He expressed his happiness that he was very close to the community welfare organizations and developed friendly relations with them. He specially praised the social and cultural activities of Khakh-e-Taiba (KTT), Twin Cities and Telangana forum.

Qureshi congratulated the principal, the management, the staff, parents and the students of Indian International School Jeddah (IISJ) on the wonderful successes the school had achieved by virtue of their hard work.

The IISJ is the only Indian community school, which has marched ahead with great success. The results have been brilliant. I always supported the school management committee and always thought positively about the school, Qureshi added.

He hoped that the school will continue to progress in leaps and bounds and help the children of the community learning there.

Shamim Kausar, Khawja Viqaruddin, Aijaz Ahmed Khan, Abdul Jabbar, Mohammed Afzal Hannan and Aminuddin Ansari highly appreciated the Qureshi’s services to the community and specifically for education in their speeches.

Qureshi received bouquets of flowers and mementos from prominent members of the community.

Abdul Rafay, Mir Mosin Ali and Arif entertained the audience with beautiful songs. Renowned anchor Aamir Abdul Ghaffar was the master of ceremony.
