JEDDAH — A noted social worker and chairman of Chakwal Overseas Association (COA) Jeddah, Malik Mohiuddin, hosted a reception in honor of Khawaja Baber Saleem, senior journalist and chairman of Chakwal Press Club Pakistan, at a local restaurant recently.



Saleem, chief editor of Daily Chakwalnama and Dhan Kahun, was a recipient of Sitar-e-Imtiaz (Star of Excellence).



A large number of mediapersons and social workers from the Pakistani community, including Mirza Gulnar Baig and Ather Nafees Abbasi, attended the event.



Saleem was in the Kingdom recently to perform Umrah and pray at the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah.



Speakers highlighted the achievements and services of Khawaja Saleem in the media field.



In the end, Choudhry Shahbaz, president of Pakistan Muslim League-N, Jeddah chapter, thanked the media fraternity for attending the event. He also presented souvenirs to the chief guest and host Malik Mohiuddin.
