OIC delegation to visit China

JEDDAH -— A high-level delegation from the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), headed by the body’s Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs Abdullah Abdul Rahman Alim, will pay an official visit to China on April 19-26.



The OIC delegation plans to hold talks with Chinese officials on relations between the Muslim World and China.



The agenda includes a review of the latest developments in the Middle East; the issue of Palestine in light of Israeli policies and serious violations; and Israel’s settlement policy and land confiscation as well as attacks on the holy sites in Al-Quds, especially Al-Aqsa Mosque.



The delegation also plans to address current developments in Yemen, Syria, Iraq, Libya and Afghanistan; the issues of terrorism, extremism and Islamophobia; the dialogue of civilizations; cultural exchanges between the Muslim World and China; and strengthening bilateral relations with China in all areas of mutual cooperation.



The OIC representatives will also discuss the situation of Muslims in China.
