Scholarships to Arab universities halted

The Ministry of Education has stopped scholarship programs for post-graduate studies in all Arab universities due to poor academic standards.

HAIL — The Ministry of Education has stopped scholarship programs for post-graduate studies in all Arab universities due to poor academic standards.



Dr. Hamad Muhammad Al-Asheikh, deputy minister for general education, has issued directives to all regions and governorates to stop sending Saudi students on government scholarships to post-graduate programs in Arab universities.



The ministry has also decided not to grant permission to Saudi students to enroll in any of the Arab universities even at their own expense.
