JEDDAH — On the occasion of the 76th Pakistan National Day celebrations, Pakistan Consulate General Jeddah is organizing a grand all Pakistan Mushaira (Poetry evening) on Friday, March 6 at 8:30 pm at the auditorium of Pakistan International School (English Section).



Speaking to Saudi Gazette, Suhail Ali Khan, press consular at Pakistan Consulate Jeddah, stated that noted poets are participating from Pakistan, such as Iftikhar Arif, Rasa Chugtai, Fitima Hasan, Khalid Masood, Baram Ghouri, Anwar Masood, Naseer Turabi, Abbas Tabish,  Rukhsana Naveed and Shahid Zaman.



Local poets included Suhail Saqib, Qamer Haider Qamer, Habib Siddiqui, Anwar Ansari, Ather Abbasi, Shoukat Jamal, Mohammed Mukhtar Ali and Touqir Haider.



Renowned scholar Aamir Khursheed will be the master of the ceremony. Khan further said those who are interested in attending the Mushaira should register their names for issuance of invitation cards on the following email addresses: parepjeddah@mofa.gov.pk and  parepjeddah@gmail.com
