Last Haj, a large number of Indian pilgrims benefited from the navigation system introduced by the consulate to help them locate their places of stay in the holy cities.
The Indian Haj mission was the first foreign mission to come up with the innovative GPS app “Haj Accommodation Locator”.
Many pilgrims downloaded the app to their smart phones immediately after arrival in the Kingdom so that they could easily find their way to the holy mosques from their accommodations.
A user-friendly menu would guides the pilgrims to their accommodations in Makkah, Mina and Madinah by simply entering the pilgrim’s cover number or passport number.
