Nostalgia combines the work of contemporary artists from Saudi Arabia in an Imago Mundi collection. The non-profit project is endorsed by Luciano Benetton to create widespread awareness of the cultural, social and artistic proficiencies of Saudi Arabia.

Over 140 documented works narrate a visual story. Text added is a collective effort by Luciano Benetton, Maryam Beydoun and Mohammed Hafiz.

The book represents ‘new social and cultural experiences, transformations both large and small, symbolic and tangible, that the Saudi artists - men and many women: painters, calligraphers, conceptual artists and mural artists - are embracing and amplifying with courage, achieving an increasingly significant space in the world of contemporary art.’

The artwork engages youth in exploring cultural ideas and social issues rooted in the Arab region. In Imago Mundi, the works of established artists and new talents in a 10x12cm format represent each country.
