JEDDAH — Lebanese Consul General in Jeddah Ziad Atallah held a reception in honor of his country’s Justice Minister Ashraf Rifi last week.



The chief guest of the evening was Prince Faisal Bin Muqrin. Other guests included local businessmen and members of the Lebanese community.



Rifi praised Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah’s initiatives in Lebanon and the role of Saudi Arabia in the Arab and Islamic world.



He also commended the strong Saudi-Lebanese relations. Rifi was general director of the Lebanese Internal Security Forces from 2005 to 2013.



He has been serving as minister of justice since February 2014. Rifi was in Jeddah to attend the Arab justice ministers meeting.



The Arab League honored Rifi for his excellence in administrative development, while the Tatweej Academy for Excellence and Quality gave him the 2011 Man of the Year in the Arab World award for his leadership in security.
