JEDDAH — Dr. Ahmed Hambali, founder president of the non-profit organization “Mohi Academy,” said that our foremost attention towards God and keenness towards Him is the real “Ibadath” (worship).
Speaking in a function organized by “Mohi Academy” Jeddah branch, Dr. Hambali underlined the importance of Ibadath (worship) and said that if we performed our duties with sincerity and honesty with complete belief in God is the profound understanding of worship. The function was to felicitate pilgrims, who had performed Haj this year and to honor Moulana Baikus Nawaz Shariq. The event was held in Shadab restaurant’s Darbar Hall, in Aziziyyah recently.
“We should always concentrate on keeping our intentions pure in order to attain the pleasure of Allah, while providing services to community,” he added.
He paid rich tributes to Moulana Shariq for his educational and literary services to the community in Jeddah. Prominent members of the Indian community, including Moulana Syed Emaduddin Mouazum Qadri, Moulana Jameel Mohammed Siddiqui, Syed Jamalullah Qadri, Siadat Ali Khan, Syed Mujtaba Shattari, Syed Sardar Qadri, Mohammed Jafar, Ather Qadri, Syed Imtiazuddin, attended the function.
Younus Almas conducted the event and renowned social worker Shabbir Mohammed Khan supervised the commemorative function. At the end Dr. Hambali, in a special prayer, prayed for solidarity, peace and prosperity for whole Muslim Ummah.
