RIYADH — Al Nassr has officially announced the signing of French defender Mohamed Simakan from German club RB Leipzig.

The club's official account on X (formerly Twitter) posted a message saying, "From the heart of the Knights’ stands, Simakan joins Al Nassr."

The video shared by the club showed Simakan wearing Al Nassr's jersey from the stands of Al Awwal Park in Riyadh, saying, "Mohamed, is one of us."

Simakan played 32 matches in the Bundesliga for RB Leipzig last season, showcasing impressive performances that caught the attention of major clubs.
