BRUSSELS — Minister of Foreign Affair Prince Faisal Bin Farhan Bin Abdullah Tuesday met with the Chair of the Political and Security Committee of the European Union Delphine Pronk and several members of the Committee.
During the meeting, they reviewed the advanced relations between Saudi Arabia and the European Union and aspects of joint cooperation and coordination in several fields.
They discussed the efforts of the Kingdom and the European Union in resolving regional and international disputes.
The meeting touched on the Kingdom’s role in supporting all international efforts aimed at resolving the Russian-Ukrainian crisis politically, in addition to discussing ways to contribute to mitigating the humanitarian effects resulting from the crisis and exerting mediation efforts among all parties.
The meeting dealt with the latest developments regarding the Iranian nuclear program, international negotiations in this regard, regional and international developments, and the efforts exerted in the promotion of international peace and security.
This meeting was also attended by Saudi Ambassador to the European Union Saad Bin Mohammed Al-Arifi, as well as the Director General of the Minister of Foreign Affairs office Abdulrahman Al-Dawood. — SPA
